There isn’t a one-fit-all solution when it comes to finding the best trading pair for your bot and it requires you to analyze the market to find the optimal one.

One of the major advantages of grid trading is that it doesn’t require you to have a precise prediction of the market direction. The second advantage is that the grid strategy works well in volatile, ranging markets, where the trend isn't clear.

With the grid strategy, the ideal scenario is that the price moves back and forth across the grid. While doing so it executes as many of the orders as possible, both for the buy and for the sell sides.

What we can advise against is starting the bot on a market with strong up- or down- trends, and waiting until it stabilizes.

You can find a list of high-performing trading pairs in the Strategies widget: it shows the top-return trading pairs based on the 3d, weekly, monthly backtest results.

If you click on any strategy it will fill the bot's creating widget with settings for a quick start.
