Once you enable Trailing Down, you may notice that the Investment Change may increase over time. This is a common situation and it happens because the old base currency is being replaced with a new one at a much cheaper price.

When the Trailing Down gets activated, the system cancels a sell order with the base currency at the top, and at the same time, places a new buy order below the current price. This way, we purchase a new amount of the base currency at a lower price and more in quantity.

Important: The old base currency goes directly back to your available account and is no longer used in investment change calculation.

So, when we add the new amount of base currency to the sell order, we see that in the bot there is way more base currency than it was before purchased by the closest price, hence the investment change increases.
