In this article, we will show you how to create, configure, and connect your Bybit API key to the Bitsgap platform.

Bitsgap is a trading platform that allows you to work with numerous cryptocurrency exchanges from a unified interface with access to additional tools that are not available on the exchange.

All trading operations are created and processed by using an exchange API key which is unique for every user. An API key is a safe and reliable way to use a platform because it does not give access to your personal data and prevents any funds management (withdrawals & deposits).

Log in to your Bybit account or create a new one.

From your account settings (top-right corner), navigate to the API page.

Click the [Create New Key] button to create a new API key.

Select the System-generated type of API key.

First, choose the Connect to Third-party Applications option and select Bitsgap as an Application Name.

Edit your permissions as in the example below. This will allow us to read your history, current balance and execute trades on your exchange account.

3. When you are ready, click [Submit].

Fill out your 2FA code to complete the security verification.

Now your Bybit trading key is successfully created and ready to be connected to our platform! Please, copy your API key and Secret key somewhere safe before you add them to Bitsgap. Once you click Understood, you will not see your API keys anymore.

Log in to your Bitsgap account and go to the My Exchanges page. Click [Add Exchange].

From the pop-up window, you need to select Bybit. This will open a window where you can add your API key and Secret key, then click [Connect].

If everything is done correctly, you will see Bybit added to the list of your connected exchanges with the Connected status and the trading balance available on your account.
